CERAMIC ARTIST

I started making pottery back in university in 1995, while pursuing my degree in Art Education. I graduated from the University of Regina with my Arts Education degree and then spent 11 years as an elementary school art/middle years educator. In 2013, I left my teaching job to open an art school. I was the owner/ operator of Cathedral Art School for 7 years, where I taught hundreds of people how to make pottery. In 2020, I sold that business and decided to pursue my love of ceramics full time from my home studio. I have been happily making pottery from my home studio since October 2020.

All my pieces are created in my home studio in SK, Canada. My work is my passion and the utmost care and joy goes into creating each and every piece at every stage..

I am a ceramic artist that focuses on handmade small batch ceramics

Each stage of my process is done by hand in my studio, from throwing each piece on the wheel, to trimming and then carefully hand painting each piece.
